Massimo Di Pierro

I am the one in the picture above. I am also a husband, a father, and a professor at DePaul CTI. My expertise in Scientific and Financial applications of Computer Science, with particular interest to Numerical Analysis, Monte Carlo Methods and Parallel Computing. My PhD is in Physics from the University of Southampton and I currently conduct research on Visualization for Lattice Quantum Chromo Dynamics, supported by the Department of Energy.
I also own MetaCryption LLC a software development and consulting company for the financial sector. This surprises some people but there are many similarities between physics and quantitative finance: they are both data driven, study systems that are perturbed by observation, and require similar computing techniques. Anyway, here is my CV.
